Hostel room and bed allotment
AllocationSet up halls, blocks, floors, rooms and beds once. Allot a whole intake, move students between rooms and see what is free at any moment, without rebuilding a spreadsheet each semester.
Starting in Hyderabad. Talking to institutions across India.
Allotment lists live in spreadsheets, roommate requests come in over email, hostel fees are reconciled by hand, and students who miss a hostel place end up in WhatsApp groups looking for flats from strangers.
Wardens, hostel offices, accounts and student affairs work from one set of records. Each person sees only the parts they are responsible for.

Students answer a short questionnaire about sleep, study habits, cleanliness, guests and noise. Roomrr suggests pairs and groups who are likely to get along, and your team makes the final call.
Students confirm their place and pay online. Accounts staff can see who has paid, who is due and who is overdue, against the same record as their room.
Send move-in schedules, maintenance notices and rule changes to one block or the whole campus, and reply to individual residents from the same dashboard.
Give each warden, officer and administrator access to exactly the modules and hostels they handle. Nobody sees resident data they don't need.
Call them halls, residences or wings, and call residents students, scholars or members. The dashboard uses your institution's terms, so staff don't need retraining on vocabulary.
Students without a hostel place can look for flats and PGs near campus on Roomrr, check how well potential flatmates fit, and avoid deals made through unknown group chats.
We work around your academic calendar. The best time to start is a couple of months before an intake, but we can set up mid-year too.
Tell us about your institution, how many students or beds you manage and where, using the partnership form.
We go through how housing runs today: hostels, allotment rules, fees, who does what. Then we agree on what Roomrr should take on.
Your halls, rooms and beds, staff accounts and permissions are configured, and you receive a campus code for students to join with.
Students sign up with your code, complete their preferences, and your team allots rooms with matching suggestions alongside.

Roomrr gives your housing team one place to run student accommodation: hostel room and bed allotment, roommate matching, bookings and hostel fee payments, announcements and messages to residents, and a route for students who need housing off campus. Your staff get a dashboard, and students use Roomrr on their phones.
Yes. Your own halls and hostels are set up with their blocks, rooms and beds. Students who do not get a hostel place, or prefer to live outside, can look for flats and PGs near campus on Roomrr and find compatible flatmates, so your office is not left sharing spreadsheets of local landlords.
Each partner institution gets its own campus code and join link. Students sign up through it, are linked to your institution, and only your staff can see your residents and allotments.
Students answer a short compatibility questionnaire covering sleep schedule, study habits, cleanliness, guests and noise. Roomrr uses the answers to suggest roommates who are likely to get along, and your team can use those suggestions when allotting shared rooms. Individual answers are kept private. See how matching works and what happens to quiz answers.
Yes. If your institution calls them halls of residence, blocks or wings, and calls residents scholars or members, Roomrr can show those words to your staff so the dashboard matches the way your campus already talks.
Access is set per staff member and per module. A warden can be allowed to manage allotments for one hostel, an accounts officer can see payments, and a student affairs officer can send announcements, without any of them seeing more than they need.
Roomrr is starting in Hyderabad and talks to universities, colleges and student hostels across India. Send a partnership enquiry with your location and we will tell you what we can offer there.
Tell us how your hostels and off-campus housing work today. We'll come back with how Roomrr could fit in, before your students start arriving.
